Discipleship

Acts 11:26, Gal. 4:18;  These passages identify disciples as being called Christians.  So, John presents the 3 “c” of discipleship: the call to follow Jesus over yourself (Matt. 4:18-22), the cost to forsake the old (Like 14:25-27, John 12:24), and the context of discipleship (Luke 5:16, Heb. 10:25, Prov. 20:17).
